We are wrapping up another weekend, and getting closer to hearing those school bells ringing!! Can you believe the kiddos go back to school in 18 short days...where did the summer go??
This week was filled with more "house excitement" as we had to end up "gutting" the entire master bathroom as well! We have now "gutted" the entire kitchen, 1/2 bath, the kids' bathroom, and now our bathroom due to water leaks! The encouraging thing is...those are the only places in the house with water, so we are hoping we have conquered all of the "issues"!! :) Glenn is taking the week off this week so he can work over there without any interruption, so hopefully by next weekend I will be able to share a few "completed" pictures of the house...yeah!! :)
Tuesday evening we shared dinner with Jen, Eric, Isaiah, and Noah. They were here visiting from Florida, so they were sweet enough to include us in their visit. Jen was Hunter's 1st grade teacher at Blackhawk, and to this day is his "favorite" teacher as well!! :0)
I've included a picture of my grandpa and the kiddos on Hunter's "tricked out" mower that he has been working on this summer. Notice the cross he spray painted on the front...he truly is his dad's child!! It is amazing to me how neither one of them can just "let something the way that the manufacturer made it" they always have to put their own spin on things!! :) Makes daddy proud, and keeps Hunter occupied, so I guess I'm not complaining!
Hunter goes to church camp this week, so we will update on that next weekend, and pray with me that those "completed" photos will come to furacin!! :)
Much love, The Claycomb's
